The motor bicycle, motor lorry and motor car, mentioned in our telegram
No. H.-7950 {Dy. No. S.-22178), dated 22nd September 1915, were ordered for,
but not actually sent to Mesopotamia. We should he glad to be informed, by
telegraph, whether War Office wish above vehicles sent to Mesopotamia or
North-West Frontier
Region of British India bordering Afghanistan.
. This information is requested in view of fact that
General Officer Commanding, Force “ D ”, has stated he does not require land
mechanical transport for aviation unit in addition to what he already has.
This refers to your telegram No. 35828 (Dy. No. S.-24724), dated 18th
October 1915.
