Telegram No. 249-5 (A. G. M.), dated the 26th October 1915.
From—The Adjutant General in India,
To—The General Officer Commanding , , 4th (Quetta) Division.
Deference Chief General Staff, No. S.-25251 of 25th instant, the
whole of 31st Punjabis are to be moved to Ferozepore as soon as you
can make local temporary arrangements pending arrival of 84th Pun
jabis. They will mobilize at Ferozepore as near field service strength as
possible winter scale clothing with tents. Leave and furlough men
should be recalled using telegraph if necessary in time to join regiment on its
arrival at Ferozepore. Recruiting parties to remain out. Movement wall be
communicated by Control. Addressed General Division, Quetta, repeated Area,
Lahore.

Infantry inc’u ing detachments at Tank will concentrate at once at Multan.
Purlough and leave men should be recalled to Multan using telegraph where
necessary. It will complete mobilization to as near field service strength as
possible winter scale clothing with tents. Recruiting parties to remain out.
Movement orders will be communicated by Control, but Dep5t will probably
move to Jhansi. Acknowledge. Addressed General Brigade, Dera Ismail
Khan, repeated General Division, Mhow and Area, Lahore.

Mahrattas will concentrate at Jhelum recalling leave and furlough men using
telegraph if necessary. It will complete mobilization to as near field service
strength as possible winter scale clothing with tents. Recruiting parties will
remain out. Movement orders will be communicated later by Control, but
Dep6t will probably move to Aurangabad relief scale. Acknowleged. Address
ed General Division, Peshawar, repeated General Division, Rawalpindi and Area
Poona.
