ff ^ ^ e P 0r t received from Basrah to-day states that yesterday our troops
attacked the enemy at Sinn, which is 7 miles East of Kut-al-Amarah, and
captured it. Many guns and prisoners were taken. The enemy are being
pursued by our troops, and are reported to be in full flight towards Baghdad.
The losses of the enemy in killed were very heavy.
