The last despatch in connection with Force “ D,” which was published
in India was that dealing with the operations at Sha’ibah between the 12th
and 14th April. It was published in the Gazette of India, dated 14th. August
1915. We consider it is desirable that you should know this in continuation
of our telegram No. H.-7921 (Dy. No. S.-22075), dated the 21st September
1915.

to India. The above quoted prices are complete for road, delivered in India

To complete Frontier flight, instead of despatching from Home the War
Office might find it preferable to purchase from the above-mentioned mechani
cal Transport.

To—The Chief of the General Staff.
Kindly inform whether in future a hospital ship light enough to cross the
bar will always be sent to Basrah. The ship that is used for taking the
patients across the bar is urgently required as a dep6t ship and platforms have
to be built on her, if she has to be again used it will cause great inconvenience
and trouble to break it all up.
