Indo-European Telegraph) are prepared to bear the share of

of India sanction the expenditure as a charge to a Suspense
Account” in the first instance pending the clearance of the
account by credits from sale proceeds and the proportionate
shares of the two Departments.
7. To forestall any order that may be issued by the Public
Works Department to close down the plants owing to the absence
in the M.E*S. Budget of the requisite provisionbf funds, I
venture to request that the Government of India will be
pleased to sanction the maintenance of the plants during 1XX the
current year under a "Suspense Head" iand to issue the

  • The proposal to install masonry water tanks in place of the water condenser plant at Bushire
  • The Foreign Office proposal that the Indo-European Telegraph Department should not expect to receive a full share of the proceeds of the sale of the existing plant as well as to be free of liability during the period since their withdrawal (since 1 April 1930).
