We realise that there certainly will be difficulties in disembarkation and re-embarkation at Bahrain but as between it and Basidu our information derive d
from Sir P Cox and General Birdwood is that water is plentiful at Bahrain, even if not very good, while Basidu has no water. The advanced force mentioned in
TZ telegram No. 1062, dated 26th September .914, is therefore being sent to Bahrain. The force should arrive there about the 23rd October 1914, as it will
leave Bombay and Karachi on the 16th and 17th October, 1914, respectively.
This is with reference to your telegram No. 1207, dated 10th October 1914, regarding Expedition D .
