Turkey in Asia should he referred for a
decision hy the Council of the League*: that at the

the Turkish Delegation here that both the French and
British Representatives on the Council would support the
ratification of that frontier if the Turkish Government

to the Commission on Monday or Tuesday after the discussion
should run something as follows
"That the Conference should invite the Council
of the League of nations to enquire at as early a date as
possible and to lay down where the frontier of the State
of Iraq y at present coincident with the northern frontier
of the vilayet of Mosul, shall be drawn."

regards the Syrian frontier the words "the northern
frontier of Syria as at present administered in accordance
