8* The mere act of withdrawal from Iraq may prove a
military measure of some difficulty, involving the) despatch
of considerable re-inforcements to the spot.

now reduced the cost of Iraq to something like manageable
proportions. It is hoped to get the estimates down to about

after having sunk so much money in the country to abandon
