The item concerns the Arabic version of article 4 of the Moresby Treaty, which, unlike the English copy, does not mention the obligation of the Imaum of Muscat [Imam of Muscat, Sayyid Sa‘īd bin Sulṭān Āl Bū Sa‘īd] to assist in seizing British subjects engaged in the trade in enslaved people.
