Group oi Khans has contracted Tor purchase of
certain estates at Barbarud belonging to Yamen-as-
Sultaneh son of Ziks-Sultan and have approached me to
assist them to find tomans 10,000 Persian dinars, or a gold coin of that value. 80,000 as part of purchase
money. May I accommodate them v/ith an advance up to
this amount through Imperial Bank of Persia? Sum would
be repayable and bear interest.
Arrangement would probably enable me to detach the
Khans from Cabinet.
Addressed to Foreign Office 299 repeated to Ispahan
Ahwaz and Bagdad.
