I have tne honour to forward herewith for the information
of the Government of India copy of a short note prepared by the

Dated the 16th December 1921 ) AngLo-Persian Oil Company regarding
tneir activities in the Pusht-i-Kuh and Luristan Areas.
It will be noted that at present the base for these opera
tions is at Ali Gharbi on the river Tigris, but Dir A.T. Wilson
recently informed me that it would probably be much more contfenient
for the Company to use Dizful as their base, ax ^ ne compa
rative tranquility of the tribal area produced by tae inij-itary
administration of H. Arabistan during the war continues now that the
Persian Government has resumed sole charge of the Administrauion.
