@lth reference to Mr. Bridgeman’s despatch : .o. 325
of the 15th Cec^nber t I have the honour to transmit to
our Lordship her with translation of a note Mo, 2834A?S8
oi the 19th ultimo from the Persian .'sinister for Foreign
Affairs on the subject of the agreement recently conduced
between Serdar Laidor Khan C»I •. *, and the nnglo-Pera ian
Oil Company Limited.
Your Lordship will observe that the Persian
Government take exception to this agreement in the same
manner as to that negotiated with the* Kaahkull Khans. In
my opinion the best way of dealing with these two question*
is for the Resident Director’ of the Anglo-persian Oil ,
Company to come hir self to Tehran and endeavour to settle
them direct with the Persian Government. I have made a
proposal in this sense to Sir A. T. Wilson who is
to comply with it at a convenient date,
I have, etc.,
