Article 3.
As soon as the company have been successful in finding oil in sufficient quantities
to justify toe aynig of one or more pipe-lines to one or more spots on the coast or
elsewhere, and, as soon as oil is being exported thereby, the company hereby undertaken

rights over whatever Government or other land maybe required by the company for

It is to be undei stood that it will still be incumbent on the company m accordance

Article 4.
No one shall have any right to graze flocks on land so acquired or in temporary
occupation of the company for the purposes of exploration, and should they do so,

undertakes to punish them. Should anyone transgress the company’s
boundaries and should they or any of their flocks meet with an accident (which God
forbid) the company shall not be responsible.
Article 5.
All houses, shops, &c., which the company may build on land sold as above or
temporarily occupied shall be free of all local taxes. The

temporarily permitted to settle on the land in their possession.
Article 6.
