In reply to Poreign Department letter
No. 1791, dated 23rd August 1872,
furnishes particulars regarding the attack
on the bugla Large trading vessel. from Koweit.
In continuation of No. 36, dated 12th
August 1872, reports the measures
which have been adopted to compel the
Chief of Pelaheea to give up certain of
the robbers who plundered the Cash-
mere.
Approves of his proceedings as re
ported in the above letter.
Encloses copy of telegraphic corre
spondence between himself and the Poli
