A line drawing of the fortified town of Sharakhs [Sarakhs]. The town lies in a semi-arid landscape, with hills in the background. There are several human figures depicted outside of the town walls. Beneath the drawing is the information: 'Exd. J. A. A. March 1894; Topo. Dy. No. 732.; No. 429-I., 94.' The artist is unknown.
