6. His Imperial Majesty visited Shiraz on October 28th and remained until
November 2nd. He appeared very mistrustful of the Shirazis, mounted his own
guard in the Arg and went out very rarely. He treated ®

' prepared by the Political Residency An office of the East India Company and, later, of the British Raj, established in the provinces and regions considered part of, or under the influence of, British India. in Bushire and printed at the Government of India Press in New Delhi for the years 1926-1938.
