On the 14th October Shaikh Sultan bin Salim visited Bahrain from
whence he proceeded to Hofuf on the 22nd on a visit to ’Abdullah bin
Jiiuwi, Amir of Hasa. He returned from the mainland on the 27th October
and left Bahrain for Ras al Khaimah on the 5th November. The Shaikh
is reported to have received a present of two horses from the Amir of Hasa.
Relations with the Shaikh are, at the moment, very friendly.
