926552 dated 4.2.35 issued at Bombay endorsed fbr
China, Japan and India.
Following on this, a somewhat cryptic postcard
addressed by C. Bianchi, an Italian Confectioner in
Shanghai, to S.H. Moualim, Bombay, seen in secret
censorship came to notice in September 1935. efforts
to elucidate it, however, have failed.
Alsaid left Shanghai on his return journey
from Japan on 7.8.35 by the B.~. "Conteverde" along
with Moalim and reached Singapore on 13.8.35 where he
disembarked while Moalim went straight on to Bombay.
Alsaid stated that he intended to reside in Singapore
for a year and rented a house in Singapore and at the
same time requested the police not to divulge his
incognito.
Subsequent to this a number of letters from and
to T.F.T. Alsaid were seen incensorship. They
referred among other things, to the despatch of money
to the extent of 4000 dollars from i.ouAiim in Bombay tj
Alsaid in Singapore. The money is believed to have
been paid by the present Sultan of Muscat to Moualim
to be passed on to his father. It appeared from the
correspondence that the Sultan of Muscat, his father
Sir Sayid Taimur Bin Faisal, the ex-sultan alias '
T.F.T. Alsaid, Saleh Hayim Moalim who accompanied
Alsaid to Japan and Mr. Shabily, s/o Khan Bahadur a.
ShabBy, Chief Secretary to the Sultan of Muscat and v

This file relates to the activities of Sir Sayid Taimur bin Faisal [Taymūr bin Fayṣal bin Turkī Āl Sa‘īd], former Sultan of Muscat and Oman.

The correspondence reports on the ex-Sultan's business interests and on his travels under the alias T F T Al Said. Most of the correspondence covers the period 1943-1946 and concerns arrangements for Sayid Taimur bin Faisal's visits to Muscat. There is no material covering the period 1937-1939.
