With reference to the Daiji extension we were not aware that
platelaying had been put in hand. Whence has standard gauge
track been obtained. No sanction has been given for
dismantling Dhibban line. Consider it most undesirable that
standard gauge should be extended northwards. Standard gauge
linking is to be stopped. V/o await replies to 78910 of June
11th and 79049 of June 19th. Earthwork may continue for a
60 cm. line only if you agree to the proposition therein put
forv/ard and advocated.
