Fovember in which we understand you concurred. H.< .Govern
ment have decided that os on 1st April next all existing
railways in Yesopot ami a shall be transferred to Civil. This
involves - Civil defraying all expenditure csptial and current,
from that date, including any then outstanding liabilities.
2. Lubbock may be transferred to Civil with work if willing,
3. There is no objection on this side to your transferring
all or any stores which will be required for future railway
construction and maintenance now in Lubbock’s charge but
recordb and valuations of such transfers must be kept.
4. Of improvements mad© after 1st April record must also
be kept, and when question of financial adjustment on account
of capital values transferred is taken up later on both above
records will be available.
5, Appropriate rates will be pa:d by Army for military traffic
after transfer. We have accordingly advised
