Government Sli(a) Kbaibir of Karkhiya tribe a leading
spirit among those elements has been (?) killed, it is
allogod by relations.
B. Kirkuk Area. Section of Baiyat have now agreed to
pay fines including 200 rifles and dbey any Governments
terms. They were reported in my telegram X.300 of October
3rd as being desirous of submitting only if granted free
pardon for past misdeeds.
C. Sulaimani area. Government (group undec.) is being
flouted by small band of Hamaw and Kurds under leadership of
one Mahmud Khidr located near Chemchemal.
Sixth and last part. As otherwise Mahmud Khidr may succeed
in rallying further robber bands round his ? standard and
render ? military occupation in Uk-Sulaimani roads unsafe effort
is being made either to capture or drive him from district.
(2) ? Basrah Mosul Lines of Communication. An unsuccessful
attack ms made on convoy e?mi!es south of .....mail on October
24th by Sheikh Bilaibill of Albu, Hamad tribe ? whose activities
were detailed in paragraph 4 X.434 October 14th with 100 mounted
then
raiders who lost 4 killed and ?/retired northward.
Situation is normal elsewhere.

A note on British Foreign Policy (folio 154) observes that the 'Policy of the British Government does not permit assistance being given to Wrangel [Petr Nikolaevich Wrangel, Baron]', a founder of the White Russian movement in the Russian Civil War.
