the next day ? On second day did you
leave that place and go to Syud

Answer.
/
I am Persian subject; a mulazem in
the Persian army under the command
of Azeez Khan ; in Persia they call me
Begzadeh Sirbaz.
They seized me in a place which I
dont know; at the time when they seiz
ed me they told me that that place was
called Tawook, i. e. } Dakook.
I came alone from Kaleh Zenjir to
Zohab ; thence I went up the mountain
of Panzerdeh, there I met Syud Kasim.
Syud Kasim had two companions with
him ; he told me that he was going to
Kalkanloo village within the Turkish
frontier, to the house of Syud Hussein
and Khurshid Agha to leave his
family with them for safety. A spare
mare that he had with him he gave
me to ride, and told me— <c Bide the
mare and come with me ; whatever
may fall into my hands I will give
you, or I will give you 5 or 10 karans.”
I rode the mare and accompanied Syud
Kasim to Kasr-i-Shireen, thence to
Jemshid, and from there, crossed the
frontier, came to Binkudreh,—myself,
Syud Kasim, and the two companions he
had with him, four of us. Of the said
two men, the name of one was Syud
Mahomed and of the other Syud Wall,

Did five of you together leave that Yes, it was so.
