Colonel Phayre has telegraphed that disturbances have broken out at
Quetta and Mustung. Brahooes seem determined to fight. My informant
reports fighting in Cutchee between Murrees and Khan’s adherents. All
traffic stopped and roads closed.

tung between a detachment of Khelat troops under the Shahgassee and the
rebel Brahooe Sirdars Leader of a tribe or a polity; also refers to a military rank or title given to a commander of an army or division. . The Shahgassee victorious. Three out of four rebel

In the oninion of the Commissioner in Sindh, the disturbances in Khelat
are not likely to be serious, in which opinion His Excellency is inclined to
concur. According to last telegram the Shah gasseehas been victorious, and three
out of the four rebel Sirdars Leader of a tribe or a polity; also refers to a military rank or title given to a commander of an army or division. are reported killed. |Further telegram will be sent
upon receipt of despatches.
