Foliation: India Office The department of the British Government to which the Government of India reported between 1858 and 1947. The successor to the Court of Directors. Library foliation in pencil; Eastern Arabic foliation in black ink

Ruling: Misṭarah ; 15 lines per page; vertical spacing 10 lines per 10 cm

Script: Naskh ; the scribe changes at f. 3v, line 2, and again at f. 294r, line 11.

Ink: Black ink, with head words overlined in red

Decoration: None

Binding: Mottled brown leather case binding with gold-stamped motifs on the spine

Condition: Binding and sewing fragile with head endband exposed; leaves in good condition

Marginalia: Collation marks and some notes and corrections throughout

Seals: Ff. 1r and 369v
