According to independent enquiries Mirza bin Barkat arrived
at Khaur Kalba from Batinah about a fortnight ago. As he
could not get a carpenter he went to Kalba town and took one
to Khaur Kalba where he got his boat repaired. While his
boat was at Khaur Kalba he was staying in a place called as-*
3af about 8 miles south of Kalba# He was last seen on or
about 27th July sheltering in his boat in an islet just
outside Khor Fakkan harbour and is reported to have left
to unknown destination owing to a warning given to him by
the inhabitants of Khor Fakkan. Mirza bin Barkat* s family
are believed to be still in Muscat territory at Fazh with the
Riyaysah tribe*
