Letter from Captain William Mackett, J Gilbert and Richard Higginson at the Cape of Good Hope to the Chief and Council of the East India Company at Mocha, informing the latter that they had sent on the ships Barrington , Prince Augustus and Craggs salvaged cargo from the ship Nightingale which had been lost at the Cape of Good Hope. It is dated 3 April 1723, and was received via the ship Barrington on 12 March 1723 [New Style date 12 March 1724].
