/passed by the recent Assembly of the League of
Nations in regard to the Arms Traffic is No.IV(a)
on page 17 of the Report of the Delegates of India.
Mr. Campbell having taken up an
appointment as British representative on the Greek
Refugees Settlement Committee will be too busily
employed to watch India* s interests in connection
with the consideration of this question by the
Temporary Mixed Commission.
It is suggested that we might write
officially to the Secretary-General stating our
views and asking that they may be placed before
the Temporary Mixed Commission. Could you kindly
state what points should be dealt with in such a
letter if you concur in the adoption of this
course.
It is possible that Sir James Brunyate
as a member of the Temporary Mixed Commission
might be able to assist in the course of the
consideration of the matter by the Commission.
