2. Discreet enquiries nade by me in this case show that
Fatimah bought Maryam about 20 years ago from a certain
person called Dowar who imported her from 3 a tinah, for a
sum of Rs. 1450/- and got her married to her slave Musa.
She gave birth to a male and a female child both of whom
died and mi carried a male one. A s %ryam was a depraved
person she was divorced by I^sa and remained without a
husband. She was not living in Fatimah bint 3 a id house.
One and hlaf years ago when Abdullah bin Behzad was proceeding
to Lingah in the boat of her il a khuda I^hanoad bin Faraj
Shanasi he left a box on the pier as a result of taxing
his kits hurriedly which was picked up by Ismail slave of
Isma 1 al 3 a qali and Salman slave of Jasin al Baqali. V/hen
he arrived at Lingah he found the box missing. He wrote to
one of his friends called 3 a iih to report the matter to the
-hler of Dubai. After thorough investigations they found
the money concealed in the house of the slave woman Laryam.
