we hare abolished all taxes on goods, Javari, vogetables,

tribesmen eoming to Xiahei, in order to render faeilities to
traders and as an encouragement for them so that they may
bring their goods properties, oat tie and all that they have
to Lahej market. They are free of payment of any tax but
thoy should otaso going to Aden with goods to the enemy o f
their religion as sueh (goo ds) shall be of some help to him
(enemy) against them.
On hearing that some of the winked and ill-tesipered
merchants of Aden Vho are arousing the cause of the enemies
of God and Who have sold their religion for the religion of
their enemy, have bought 3 aeroplanes out of their own
private money 9 as an assistanoe to the enemies of the reli
gion against their brethj^n the Messalmane, efeo became rcry
much displeased • Had these aeroplanes been solely used on
our soldiers, we would not have cared but cur regret is
that because they caused a havoc and terror in tho minds of
tho wo men, children, weak-hearted and poor classes of men.
They (enemies) have displayed their po war by thrju^lng bombs
on the mosques and the dwelling houses of Hossulmans. Such
action is against humanity and civilisation rules. Ivon
though these endeavours were not effective and God sauced
these stratagems to failure, yet the demonstration they have
shewn, exposed their bad nature and failure and revealed
