Shaikh Kasim Muhammad the Zubedi, a Shaikh under the Amir of Dala who
has all along been averse to the Amiri antics writes to say that Said Pasha An Ottoman title used after the names of certain provincial governors, high-ranking officials and military commanders. recently
wired the Mawia Shaikh, Nasr Mukbil, to send down men as reinforcements to
Lahej ; that the latter has fallen out with the Amir who shows signs o pern en
for his work with the Turks.
It appears that Amir Nasr and some of his tribesmen were seen recently at an
attack onZ Jabir before Shaikh Othman. The Amir had gone to Lahej to
complain of “ Mawia.”
