his son confirm the former reports about the unrest in
t the Yemen and report rumours of a move on the part of
the Idrisi against the Imam and the eapture of 9 vil
lages belonging to the latter* This requires confirma
tion as we have no news of any such move from the Idri-

The Alawi's son says that Saiyid Mahomed Par wish
is at present in Upper Yafa preparing to attack Kataba
and the Amir of Uala* A similar letter has been re~
oeived from the Maueata Sheikhs (Upper Yafa) giving nem
of disturbances in the Yemen and referring to Saiyid
Mahomed Darwish's preparations* They report that the
Sheikh of Jabal Badan al Bo ala who haa been fighting
with the Turks has lately inflicted heavy losses on
then. The Sheikhs are asking for assistance in arm
and amnunition in order to strengthen themelves.
