We inform you that we were coming to you but we
have been unable to do so on account oi what nappened
between nl Aresh and Al Dalyani. be nave oeen instiucoec Oj
His Excellency the Imam and Government to proceed to
Aarib, Ubaidah, Murad, Behan, Haban and all other eastern
places in the neighbourhood in order to see to the welfare
of that country and to draw the people to the right path
as per commands of the Almi^ty God, His Prophet, the Imam
and Government. We have written this to you :/hile we
are engaged in looking after the prosperity of your affairs
and pray God to help and guide us to the proper course for
looking into the interests of the kossulrnans. be are
sending our lad Ahmed bin Mohamed al Kibsi in order to
discuss matters with you and arrange a meeting between us m
such a place as you wish or for you to come to us to
Hujrat al Kebar in order that you may see the orders of tne
Imam and these of the illustrious Government.
Please note that you will be treated with the respect
and honour due to you etc and after your arrival we will
discuss matters of interest to religion and Mosoulmans.
Should you be entertaining any suspicion or doubt as to our
good faith we make this solemn declaration; that we will _
