Your Highness,
I sincerely hope that Your Highness is in the best
of health notwithstanding the fatigues and anxieties of the
operations which you have brought to so successful
conclusion.
Your Highness will perhaps have heard that His
Majesty’s Government have entrusted me with another mission,
which has necessitated my proceeding to India, Aden and
the Yemen. I shall not, therefore, reach England for
another six or seven weeks and have not yet been able to
see His Maiesty’s Government oersonally. I have, however,
reported f^lly in writing to His Majesty’s Government in
regard to the various points which Your Highness wished me
to nut forward and 1 ah® 11 not fail to discuss themitoen
I reach London.
I have taken the onportunity of my visits to
Egypt, Palestine, Iraq and India to assure the authorities
in those countries that it is tour dig* ness’ desire and
intention to give all oossible facilities oilgrims
and 1 trust that the pilgrimage this year will be a large
and successful one.

making a port at Has Tannura on the Persian Gulf The historical term used to describe the body of water between the Arabian Peninsula and Iran.
should the proposal materialise *nd be found practicable,
I do not think there would be any objections whatsoever
to Your Highness approaching the various shinning Companies
with a view to requesting them tc call at Has Tannura.
I feel bound to observe, however, that the Gomnanies
would certainly first require to satisfy themselves that
