a copy has been forwarded to you, and to transmit
to you, to be laid before the Earl of Birkenhead ?
preliminary drafts of the proposed treaty with Ibn
Saud and of the protocol to the Hadda Agreement
defining the frontier between the Hedjaz and Trans-
Jordan.
2. It will of course be necessary to revise
the final draft in the light of the observations of
