Whereas with a view to fixing the frontier
between Nejd and Trans Jordan and settling certain
questions connected therewith, an Agreement known as
the Hadda Agreement was concluded between His
Britannic Majesty's Gorernment and the Government of
Hejd and was signed at Eahra Camp on the 2nd of
November, 1925 (corresponding t the 15th Rabi* Thani
1344); and
/hereas it is considered advisable by His
Britannic Majesty's Government and by the Governments
of Trans Jordan and the Hejaz to come to an agreement
regarding thefrontier between the Hejaz and Trans
Jordan.
ye, the undersigned. His Majesty Abdul Aziz ibn
Abdur Rahman al Faisal Al baud, King of the Ilejaz
and Sultan of Nejd and its ijependencies and G.R.Jordan,
Acting British Agent and Consul in Jeddah, the duly
accredited Plenipotentiary of His Britannic Majesty
have agreed upon the following article,*
The Frontier between the ilejaz and rans
Jordan starts from the intersection of meridian 38°
and parallel 29°35' which marks the termination oi tno
frontier between Nejd and Trans Jordan and proceeds
in a straight line to a point on the Hejaz Railway
two miles south of 1 'udar.tara. From this point it
proceeds in a straight line to a point on the -If
of Akaba two miles south of the town of that name.
