inclusion in the new treaty of an article on the lines
of Article 6 of the ireaty of 1915 , whereby Ibn Saud
undertook to refrain from aggression on the territories
of the Persian Cxulf rulers in treaty relations wit., his
iiajesty’ s Government. Thi a suggestion had been
considered by the previous interdepartmental Conference,
and the view then taken was that it would be inadvisable
to include any such provision, since this would have the
effect of emphasizing His Majesty's Government a
