Article 6
Tfce present treaty shall be ratified and the
ratification* shall be exchanged as soon ? a possible.
It shall come into force immediately upon ratification
and shall be binding during seven years from the date of
its coming into force, *hen the treaty concluded between
His Britannic Majesty and His Majesty the King of the
Heja* *md Sultan of Hejd and its Dependencies, then
Sultan of Hejd, on the 9Xth of December 1915, shall cease
to have effect. In case neither of the high contracting
parties shall have given notice to the other six months
before the expiration of the said period of seven years of
hi a intention to terminate the treaty it shall remain in
force until the expiration of six months from the day on
which either of the High contracting parties shall have
given such notice.
The present treaty has been drawn up in quadru
plicate in Inglish and Arabic, ^oth texts sh; 11 have the
same validity but in case of divergence the English
text shall prevail. One copy of eaeh text shall remain
deposited in the archives of the Government of His
Majesty the King of the Hejaa and Sultan of Kejd and its
Dependencies and one copy of each text in those of the
Government of His Britannic Majesty, the remaining copies
being used for the purpose of the exchange ©i ratifications
providsd for in this Article of the present Treaty.
