Representative mill inform Abdullah to this effect. In the
meantime Fhsraz Shaalan and his (? group omitted) seem faced
with the necessity of coming to a decision similar to that
envisaged by Dobbs in his telegrams No.31 of January 16th and
Bo.50 of January 27th. In this connection see also my tele-
‘Vloq
grams Nos. 16 and 31 of the 20th of January and 5th of February.
Unless a definite attack is made on Trans-Jordan, Air Ibrcc
cannot operate so that no actibn is possible beyond recon
naissance and an endeavour to ke^ track of Wahabi movements.
After Wahabi’s experience of August last I hardly think that a
raid on Ataman is probable but attack might develop in the
direction of Maan perhaps (?with) the particular object of
discouraging
