This map shows the eastern areas of Turkey in Asia, as well as western Persia bordered to the north by the Caucasus mountain range and to the south by the Syrian desert and by the Mediterranean and Caspian seas to the west and east respectively. The map also shows the region's hydrology, mountain ranges, major settlements and lines of communication such as roads and railways. The map was printed by Turner and Shawe of Brewer Street, London.
