r ^he weights of these livers also vary from size to size. The
livers of the bigger ones weigh about 10/15 lbs. whereas whose of tht
ordinary ones weigh about 5/8 lbs. It has also been seen that tne li
vers of flaw fishes weigh more whan whose of round-shaped ones. We
are sending to your friends in Norway, some samples of livers of flat
fishes. We shall send you later on the samples of livers of round-sh
aped fishes. These fishes are not found in larger quantities in the
neighbourhood of Muscat and moreover, we doubt v,.ry much whether the
ir livers (which are very light in colour), have any protency at all.
/'he sizes, weights and all other particulars of the fishes
from which the** samples have been taken out, are atxx^itxx shown in
a separate taule enclosed herewith. We now await comments from your
friends af ter ^he examinauion of these samples. After healing from
■.-hem whether these livers can be useful to them and also get wing some
idea about the prices which whey are prepared to pay, we shall see if
it is worth while to start this business.
Yours faithfully,
Bhacker Haji Abdul Law iff uazul.
