Statement of slave Noobi bin Mubarak, age about
40 years , slave i Tnani bin . ouamaed, Dubai.
I am originally from Mekran. When I i as l 6 years
old, I was kidnapped from there by a thief via>se name
I don't know. He took me to Dubai and sold me to
Than! bin Mohamed for Rs.1200/-. I remained at my
master's house since that time. He treated me very
kindly and I was very much obliged to him 0 Unfortunate^
last year he died and all his belonginings were
inherited by his father-in-law Said bin Khamis.
I remained at the later's house. His He was very
cruel to me to such an extant that he was attempting
to sell me te the Badowins. Last flionth I seized an
opportunity and escaped from his heuse. I came here
on foot via Batinah. lam a poor man . I have taken
refuge at the British Consulate to favour Die with an
a Manumission Certificate.
