In my next telegram I am repeating a cypher telegram from
Persian Vice-Consul to Minister for foreign Affairs sent with
my concurrence. Kindly transmit to addressee if you see no
objection. Translation text according to paraphrase handed
to me by Persian Vice-Consul is as follows.
“The disturbances at Najaf are over. Atiyah and Abu and
Gulul have been captured and with other mischief-makers have
KKggg surrendered to Government. The blockade of Najaf has
been raised. jSveryone is now at ease and pilgrims and others
pursue their vocations in comfort".
