The letter is enclosing a range of translations and copies of correspondence; a list of the items being enclosed is included at the bottom of f 182.
Two enclosures:
1. Translation of a Firmaun [ Firman A Persian word meaning a royal order or decree issued by a sovereign, used notably in the Ottoman Empire (sometimes written ‘phirmaund’). ] from Prince Hoosan Allee Meerza [Ḥusayn ‘Alī Mirzā] at Sheraz [Shiraz] to William Bruce, received 18 October 1808. It includes general well wishes and informs the Acting Resident that Mohumed Hussun Khan Nusukchee had been ordered to Bushire on Persian Government business.
2. Translation of a letter from Nusroolla Khan to William Bruce, received 18 October 1808. The letter includes general proclamations of friendship and good intentions towards William Bruce and the British; it also mentions that Mohumed Hussun Khan Nusukchee had been ordered to Bushire on Persian Government business.
