The letter is an acknowledgement of the receipt of a communication dated 21 September 1807 regarding the expenses incurred repairing the Shiek Abdul Russool [Shaikh ‘Abd al-Rasūl Khān] vessel. The letter further mentions a dispute between the aforementioned and Aga Mohumed [Muḥammad Nabī Khān], the latter having been accused of appropriating supplies intended for the Shiek's vessel.
