Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident, Bushire, forwards accounts (not included) for the Bushire factory An East India Company trading post. up to 30 April 1802. The Resident informs Jonathan Duncan of Samuel Manesty's recent request for 24,000 pisasters [piasters]. Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun states that because he did not have that amount in cash he procured a draft - payable at Bussora [Basra] to the Resident, from the merchants at Bushire, and debted [debited] to the Honourable Company - which he forwarded to Bussora.
