Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident at Bushire, informs the Governor in Council that Hadgee Kaleel Khaun [Haji Khalil Khan], Envoy from the Court of Persia, last year purchased from the factory An East India Company trading post. at Bushire 200 bales of long ells just before proceeding to India. The Native Resident writes that the Envoy requested that he (the Native Resident) take back forty bales of popingay as the Envoy would not be able to dispose of them himself. Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun states that he complied with the Envoy's request. He encloses a copy of instructions (not included), which he gave to a merchant to carry out the Envoy's request.
