Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident at Bushire, informs Samuel Manesty, Resident at Bussora [Basra], that the Alert arrived at Bushire from the Presidency The name given to each of the three divisions of the territory of the East India Company, and later the British Raj, on the Indian subcontinent. on 20 October 1802. He states that the Alert brings news from the Government that Major John Malcom [Malcolm] has been ordered again to the Court of Persia, by the Governor General. This letter includes the following enclosures, dated 21 September 1802: an account of the sale at Bushire of woollens belonging to the Honourable Company and an account of the state of the Honourable Company's Treasury at Bushire.
