Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident at Bushire, directs Lieutenant Edward Lowes, Commander of the Ternate , to inspect a vessel which is now in sight to the south. Lowes is instructed to ask the Commander of the vessel to deliver up all of the vessel's packets and letters, which should then be sent to Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun. The Resident also wishes to know where the vessel has come from and whether the body of the [late Persian] Embassador [Ambassador] is on board.
