Mirza Mehedy Ally Khaun [Mirza Mahdi 'Ali Khan Bahadur], Native Resident at Bushire, acknowledges the receipt of Samuel Manesty's dispatch with an accompanying letter for Major John Malcom [Malcolm], which was received on 2 December 1802, and promises to deliver it in person as early as possible. He suggests that news that Malcom is on his way to Persia will make the Persian monarch put off making a final decision until Malcom's arrival.
