Adjustment of Major U.N.S.Bray^ account in
connection with the Bahrain Mission to England.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to your letter Uo.P.869, dated
the 14th May 1926, with which was forwarded a letter from
Major Bray dated 21st March 1925.
2. In this letter Major Bray claimed thats-
(a) he should have a "balance of R.s.13/8/- at his
credit in the Eastern Bank, Bombay,
(L) a sum of Rs. 1,327/6/- was due to him by the
Deputy Accountant General, Baghdad, as detailed in
paragraph 8 of his letter, and
(c) that a sum of Rs. 858/15/9 was incorrectly
recovered from him as he was entitled to ration allowance
under his contract of employment dated 22nd January 1918.
3. As regards item (a), X am to enclose a copy of a
Ho.16/8242, dated 10th August 1925.J letter irom the Manager,
Bank” Bombay ”from”which it will be observed that there is
no outstanding balance in favour of Major Bray with this
Bank.
As regards (b), the sum of Rs.l,327/6/- claimed by
Major Bray comprises the following items.-
